Our Motto Is…"Healthy Meals For
Healthy Children"

The Child Care Food Program is a federal program administered by USDA through the California Department of Education. The Child Care Food Program reimburses child care providers for the nutritious meals served to the children in their care. In doing so, the program allows you to buy higher-quality food while charging competitive rates. The program means better nutrition for healthy bodies and growing minds.

The reimbursement rates are the same for all Child Care Food Programs throughout California.

The Child Nutrition Program of Southern California is dedicated to educating family child care providers on the importance of providing nutritious meals and snacks to the children in their care.

The Child Nutrition Program of Southern California has been assisting family child care providers since 1981.

A recent national child care study reports that participation in a Child Care Food Program is a primary indicator of top-quality child care!
